Scott Menaul
Scott was an Abstract Surrealist artist who used digital and mixed media techniques to create unique, colorful, innovative and mesmerizing abstract artwork for your home or workplace. Much of Scott’s artwork contains glass-like objects. These reflect, refract and transmit light and color, creating beautiful works of art. Scott likens the glass-like objects, sometimes spheres, cubes, pyramids or other shapes, to the human spirit. The human spirit reflects, refracts, transmits and adds to the world around him.

Liasi
Liasi began her journey at a very early age attending various art programs in Philadelphia. She attended the Philadelphia for Creative and Performing Arts High School, Penn State, The e Philadelphia Community College Arts Program and The Fine Arts Academy in Lansdowne Pennsylvania. In 2017 Liasi had the opportunity to attend the Carrie Stuart Parks Forensic School of Art held in Nashville Tennessee at the Federal Building of investigation. There she earned a certificate for Composite Sketch Artist for Law enforcement which allowed her to use her innate ability and artistic skills to work with victims of crime along with the interview process
While residing in Southern California from 2016 – 2018, Liasi picked up the trade as a custom picture framer for Four Stix Picture Framing. She also joined the Southern California Pastel Society for which she was influenced by a colleague who provided Liasi with Pastel classes at the Manhattan Arts Cultural Center, in Manhattan Beach California.

Lorraine Potocki
I always wanted to be an artist and was my happiest when I was drawing. Even as a child, I was capturing my life experiences, like my brother practicing his accordion lessons (which I know he absolutely hated).
And, it was this very same brother who encouraged me to go to college. That big step would later open doors for me in local ad agencies then in major corporations.
Who would have thought that this kid from Trenton, NJ would be sought after by corporate recruiters, relocated several times, and traveling throughout the US and abroad.
When that chapter in my life concluded, the next was ready to begin. It was time to tell the story of my life through my art and I began my business, Florida Pastels LLC.
With all that is happening in the world today, it has elevated my sense of awareness of some of the ordinary things in life that you might easily overlook. I’m never without my iPhone ready to capture those moments that might become a painting. It could be that sunlit empty park bench that hasn’t seen its usual visitors, or the father and son walking side by side with fishing poles in hand reminiscent of days when life seemed so much simpler.
I enjoy working in both pastel and acrylic but have recently concentrated more on my body of work in pastel. It’s important to every subject I paint to give it the respect it deserves and show the viewer what I saw and feel what I felt.
Most of my paintings begin very abstractly beginning with the large shapes, then smaller shapes within them, always looking for the light that tells the story of what urged me to paint this in the first place. Because of my foundation of working in acrylic, primarily abstractly, I often under paint my pastels. I also often use black UArt paper which immediately establishes the dark darks.
My head begins to sort out the technical elements of composition knowing it’s important to leave out as much as to put in. Less is more. Without emotion the painting can remain technically sound. That’s when my heart takes over. How did I feel when I stopped to take the photo reference for this painting? Was I surprised, saddened, delighted so much so that I couldn’t wait to express that emotion in my next painting?
All of my life experiences up to this point prepared me for this day. In the creative process, time stands still. The scary and uncertain things in life can be put aside for a while. It’s only me, my story, and the need to paint it into life.

Caci Garau
I have recently concluded a rewarding professional career as a Registered Nurse for 40 years. Along my journey, Art has always been my passion and now I am able to pursue my inner creative dream. I uses oil paints as my medium.

Karen Baker
Her work has been featured in The Artist’s Magazine, Pastel Journal, and Tampa Bay Magazine. She holds signature membership with Connecticut Pastel Society, Pastel Society of America, and Pastel Society of Tampa Bay. She owned and operated a fine art gallery in southern Vermont before moving to Florida, where she also teaches art classes and workshops through Dunedin Fine Art Center and the Morean Art Center in St. Petersburg. Her paintings hang in private collections throughout the U.S., Europe, and Japan.

Heather Rippert
Heather Rippert is a Master Painter, Award Winning, Internationally Exhibited Fine Artist and Watercolorist, Specializing in Coastal Landscapes.
Heather Rippert has been painting and drawing from the time she could hold a pencil. Growing up an only child, she discovered a magical world to disappear into every time she picked up art supplies. Her high school art teacher and mentor, Michael Mulhern, was instrumental in her artistic development and love of watercolor. She received a BFA from Maryland, Institute, College of Art. While there, she was hand picked to attend a semester abroad at Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland where she delved into printmaking and black and white photography
Her love of water media was re-ignited in 2007, as she painted coastal landscapes of the Jersey shore informing her decision to relocate to Florida in 2010. Her masterful and sensitive watercolors explore the vast beauty of the natural world emphasizing light and mood. Rippert is continually selected for exhibitions like art expo NYC and Las Vegas, has won Creative Loafing Best Local Visual Artist in Tampa Bay, is a member of the Florida Watercolor Society, The American Watercolor Society, and has been featured on Great Day Tampa Bay Live. She Dreams in Watercolor day and night.

Cindy Allbritton
Cindy Allbritton is a local artist who is passionate about painting. A South Tampa semi-native , she is often inspired by local Florida landscapes. Color, texture and complexity of a subject often capture her attention.
She attended USF where she studied painting, drawing and sculpture. Cindy has 20 years experience showing artwork at local venues. Her artwork is also available as giclee prints, canvas prints, and she will accept commissioned work.

My life’s journey includes practicing law, being a law enforcement officer, volunteer fireman, entrepreneur, pioneer in the sustainable/organic food industry, artist, poet and more. My work as an artist and poet is the sum total of my life’s journey. Beneath the skin, we all the same. Who we are in life is different. There are no duplicates. As a Poet, my reason for writing is to help us reflect, understand and, ultimately, feel our humanity. As an artist, I want to paint my poetry. Art and poetry combined gives a richer experience of the words and visual, triggering the imagination and leading us to an emotional journey.

Suzanne Murphy
As a child, I was drawn into the world of visual storytelling by 20th century illustrators such as N.C. Wyeth and Howard Pyle. My influences broadened to painters like Degas, Sargent and Sorolla.
My theatre studies taught me the power of body language, the drama of lighting, informing my work as I paint the stories of people in portraits and landscapes as intimate as a thought, a wish, a memory.
My camera first documents the physical. Then in my studio, with charcoal, canvas and oil paint, I attempt to unveil that quality that urged me to take the picture. I listen for silent voices in the stillness of a pose, the nuance of a gesture or colors that quiet the mind. Then I begin.
Like the Big Bang, beginnings have energy, and with the first strokes, the first colors anything is possible. I rush to cover the emptiness with first impressions. Laying out a palette of seven colors and white, I mix from scratch, not relying on premixed colors. My brush on canvas finds its rhythm.

Milt Rochman
Rochman was a contemporary artist whose view of the modern world was through the eyes of a romantic, classical Spanish or Roman artist. He believed in a simple world, devoid of hate, prejudice and greed. He believed in simple joys – women, music and nature – and these are central themes in all his work.
