Cleaning Art Glass / Museum Glass
Art Glass or Museum Glass is the best glazing option for all framed works of art. However, it’s really annoying if you get a fingerprint on it. Start with a soft, lint free cloth like a microfiber cloth that is large enough to clean your glass. This glass should never get wet, but if it is absolutely needed, spray either ammonia-free glass cleaner or a mixture of 50% water and 50% alcohol or distilled water onto a lint free cloth – NEVER spray directly onto glass. Do this sparingly and be careful not to get too close to the edge so no solution gets under your glass.
