Art, displayed in public streetscapes and within the common areas of commercial buildings, plays a crucial role in commercial real estate development by shaping a sense of place and fostering community connections. Art elevates spaces beyond traditional real estate design, whether outdoors or indoors. It brings warmth, energy, and atmosphere to environments, making them more dynamic, inviting, and appealing.
We are excited for you to participate in this event designed to showcase the importance of artwork in commercial developments.

Hours:
4pm – 8pm
Cost: Free for participating Artists.
$45 per person
Parking: There is paid parking on the street or in the lot directly across the street
Have you wondered How I can get my artwork in front of people in the Commercial Real Estate space?
Please join us for this CRE (Commercial Real Estate) focused Art Event to raise awareness to the importance of artwork in Commercial Development and to raise money for students studying in this area.
We are accepting submissions for:
– Show and Sale of Artwork
– 12″x12″ canvas art for Silent Auction
This event promises to be an exciting gathering, attracting professionals from all sectors of the commercial real estate industry. Set in a historic Ybor location, the evening will feature exceptional culinary experiences, live music, and an array of additional highlights for an unforgettable night.
We invite you to create/submit a piece of art to complement Commercial Real Estate spaces. It should feature themes that align with the environment, integrated with modern design, or abstract representations of growth and innovation.
What Artists Can Expect From Us:
Pre-Promotion: We will showcase your information on social media to raise interest prior to the event.
For the Show: We hang the work completed with art cards, bio sheets and contact information next to your art.
Each participating Artist will receive one complimentary registration to attend. We encourage you to invite others to attend.
Payment: You will be paid 1/3 of the selling price, with the remainder going to the non profit.
What we expect from the Artists:
– Work must be:
– Be original in concept and design.
– Be for Sale.
– Accepted Artwork:
2D Artwork:
– Must be either Originals or Limited Editions not to exceed 40″x60″.
– All pieces must be ready for hanging – either D-rings or wired. No sawtooth hangers, clip frames or other systems.
12″x12″ Canvas:
– We are seeking donations of 12″x12″ completed art on canvas for the Silent Auction.
– We are making 12″x12″ gallery-wrapped canvases available to artists at no cost for pick up in Hillsboro at Holmes + Brakel or Pinellas at My Favorite Art Place. (Canvases donated courtesy of My Favorite Art Place)
3D Artwork:
– One freestanding submission (no wall hanging).
– Must not require electrical support
– Weight limit: 200 lbs
– If accepted, the artist may be asked to provide a pedestal.
– Volunteers are not permitted to assist in moving sculpture. Arrange for help if needed.
– Sculpture submissions require three (images) providing three different views.
Important Dates:
– Deadline to Apply: Application deadline will close at 11:59 pm January 31, 2025.
– Notifications:– Accepted Artists will be notified by email by February 15 2025.
– Drop Off: The artwork must be dropped off by Tuesday, March 11, 2025 between 11 am and 2 pm.

– Pick Up: Any pieces left over must be taken either at the end of the show or be picked up by March 28, 2025 before 4 pm unless you’ve made prior arrangements with Homes + Brakel.
